If you have a slow internet connection such as a Dial Up connection to the web, you may want to read the information below before making any selections.
Why Do I Have A Slow Connection
If your internet connection is through a telephone line (dial-up), the best connection speed is 56kb per second. That means, at best, only 56 thousand bits of data can be transferred within a second. This sounds fast, but when a web site needs to send millions of bits to a PC to create a web page, this is very very slow.
What To Do If You Have a Dial-up Option?
Most dial-up connections end up between 28kb and 49kb because of interference on a telephone line. Since some of the Abbey Road web pages have a lot of graphics, they could take minutes to be displayed at that speed. Since we want you to view the site without having a nervous breakdown, we suggest that you DO NOT select the "Screen Shot" and the "How Foto Filer/ETracker Works" selections on this web site. These are very graphic intensive and it could be a frustrating experience for you.
